AGIOS STEFANOS – ARILLAS
These two bays are great favorites with visitors who return year after year and really feel ‘local’.
The large sandy beach of Agios Stefanos attracts many people, there are often quite big breakers here, but the water stays shallow for quite a long way, making it ideal for families.
Arillas is a smaller beach, a mix of sand and shingle, and is fast becoming known as a center for eco-tourism. The village also prides itself on its micro-brewery, the well known Corfu beer which organizes beer festivals almost every year and is always popular with visitors!
Both bays have many bars and tavernas offering plenty of choice- and also gentle strolls across the headland dividing them.
