The had literally no consideration for anything and it was like they were alone. The woman was pretty loud and i don't care who was right or who was wrong because the entire experience was ruined and we left with an extremely unpleasant feeling.

All the food on the menu is made fresh and you can watch it being cooked if you want, as they wanted an open kitchen for people to see it with their own eyes;
We ordered a few appetizers like bruschetta, anchovies, dolmadakia, stuffed pepper and they were all fresh out of the oven, simply delicious, the bread still so hot that we had to wait a while for it to cool down;
As mains, we ordered the octopus pastisdada, sardine bourdeto and mousaka, all to die for!
The mousaka started an argument between the missus and my brother: she insisted that the mousaka had to have potatoes in it ( the Irish and their spuds!), while the brother argued that every Greek cookery programme he's ever watched made no mention of potatoes in the mousaka; so we had to resort to mediation by asking the waiter about this all important detail; he said that traditionally the mousaka is not made with potatoes but some families would put potato slices at the bottom of the pan, so he essentially saved my marriage!

We came back twice as it was so good. This restaurant is a MUST if you like high quality, home cooked, mouth watering food. My husband said that the orange pudding was the best pudding he has ever eaten. I had grilled squid and it was soft and very tasty with Greek salad (utterly delicious) snd chips - homemade. They own a cat, as do I, and while I love them I don't let mine paw my lap while I eat. The owners wife came out an apolagised as we were leaving and offered a free fruit salad and then as I was paying the bill said if we could come back we would get a free bottle of her husbands wine. Needless to say we declined all and will not be going back

Truly a feast worthy of the Gods!

  ....but a friendly, clean taverna with excellent service and charming hosts who were obligingly helpful as I made an arse of myself trying to speak Greek! Lovely experience.

  It was the best dinner. The dishes where amazing, and the service was great. I recommend the orange flawourd pie With icecream.
