The Restaurant, grill room PAXINOS in Benitses, Corfu
Paxinos is a family-run restaurant and grill room at the entrance of Benitses, about 50 meters from the main road. It serves traditional Corfiot cuisine and fresh fish, in a cozy setting that keeps the old Corfiot recipes unchanged.
It is open all year round, which is not a given in Benitses.
The Paxinos menu
The kitchen centres on the local Corfiot dishes and the grill, with fresh fish alongside. The family makes its own wine and grows the vegetables in its own garden, so a good part of what reaches the table comes from the restaurant’s own production.
The kitchen sits in the same room as the main hall, so you can see the cooking while you eat, which gives the place its warm, friendly feel.
Events
Two more halls beside the main one can host small events such as baptisms and weddings.
