Welcome to the Corfiot Dialect Application! Here, you can search through over 3000 words and phrases of the traditional Corfu dialect, which is no longer in use. The words are written with Latin characters only to help non-Greek-speaking people get an idea of this local Dialect.

Note: In many cases, you may find nonsensical expressions, as these are idiomatic phrases and difficult to convey exactly. Additionally, the original word ‘Latinization’ distorts some words. We ask for your understanding, as translating and fixing 3000+ words inside code is not an easy task. You can find the original words in the Greek version.
